#Joey Bada$$ Pens Love Letter To Black Women In Promo For Bumble
The clip, released by the app via social media on Thursday (February 22), was directed by Jesse Boykins III and finds the rapper acknowledging both the many shared struggles Black women experience, while also speaking to a potential love interest of his own.
“I don’t think I tell you this enough, but you are so sacred to me,” Joey starts out. “It’s incredible watching you create your sanctuary the way you do while the world takes so much beauty away from you. I can’t imagine what you going through. All the problems in the hair you combing through.
“Just know you got my heart. The only one I’m coming home to. See, I been in my heart and mind, trying to find the right woman and they say that love is blind but you looking right to me. True love can’t be hard to find cause it’s sitting right in front of me.”
He concludes: “Please never forget how truly blessed you are. I’ll cater to your visions and be there while I’m growing your purpose. Real love is our language. And a Black woman is a blessing in my life.”

Despite starring in the ad for the dating app, Joey likely won’t be using it any time soon as he recently shared photos of him loved up on holiday with his girlfriend Serayah who he began dating last year.
The two were enjoying a vacation to the Caribbean holiday of Saint Lucia and could be seen kissing on the beach.
The couple were rumored to have split late last year after Serayah was spotted out with another man but things appear to be all rosy for the musical duo now.
