Biden, speaking to reporters in Wilmington, Del., also vowed to get tested regularly throughout the final stretch of his presidential campaign.
“I have been tested once with a deep test and I’m going to continue to be testing on a regular basis,” said Biden, who didn’t say the results.
“I just, ‘yes, sir,’ show up and put my head back,” Biden said of the testing procedure.
He speculated his next test could be this week.
For most of the pandemic, Biden has campaigned almost exclusively from his Delaware home. During this time, his campaign advisers have repeatedly defected questions on whether the former vice president had been tested.
Biden noted that the Secret Service agents assigned to protect him and “everyone” else who comes into his home is tested already.
