A brief ending song trailer has been released for The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World anime adaptation. The song is titled “Loudhailer” and performed by Maaya Uchida.

More cast members were announced as well, including Azumi Waki as Rebecca Bradley, Kaede Hondo as Claris Cleveland, Akira Sekine as Alriane Algren, Yuuichirou Umehara as Evi Armstrong, Atsumi Tanezaki as Lydia Ainsworth, Nanako Mori as Abbie Garnet, and Maaya Uchida as Carol Caroline.

The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World will premiere sometime in January 2023. It is based on the Kodansha-published light novels written by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Riko Korie, which began in 2020 and has six volumes as of October 2022. A manga adaptation by Sasaki Nobuhito began the same year.

The Arnold Academy of Magic is a school for the elite…and Ray White is just your ordinary guy. In fact, he doesn’t seem particularly skilled with magic at all, and is a bit of a klutz. Which is why he has nothing to do with the rumor that one of the great magicians, the Iceblade Sorcerer, is a member of the incoming class…right?

Masahiro Takata (Nil Admirari no Tenbin director and audio director) is serving as the anime’s director, series composer, and audio director. Makoto Shimojima (The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt and Magatsu Wahrheit -Zuerst- animation director) is the character designer, while Cloudhearts is producing the show with Yokohama Animation Lab credited for production assistance.
