The Jets added a veteran receiver on Sunday, agreeing to terms with Chris Hogan, according to a source.

The 32-year-old joins a receiving corps that was thin to begin with and has sustained some injuries already in training camp. Rookie Denzel Mims has missed the first two practices with a hamstring injury. Vyncint Smith was not practicing Sunday with an undisclosed injury.

Hogan brings experience to the Jets, but it remains to be seen how much of an impact he can have. Hogan only played seven games with the Panthers last season, catching 8 passes for 67 yards.

He spent three seasons with the Patriots, winning two Super Bowls, before going to Carolina last year. Hogan, a Wyckoff, N.J. native, began his career with the Bills.

He has 202 career receptions for 2,677 yards and 18 touchdowns.
