# Blue Protocol to end service on January 18, 2025 in Japan; western release canceled

Blue Protocol first launched for PC on June 14, 2023 in Japan, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on December 13, 2023. The game will continue to receive content updates, including new stories, leading up to its final day of service.
“We have enjoyed a strong relationship with Amazon Games throughout the development of Blue Protocol, and both of our teams are disappointed that we will not be able to deliver the game to players around the world,” Bandai Namco Online said in a statement.
Blue Protocol is currently available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in Japan.
