# Famitsu Sales: 8/9/21 – 8/15/21

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of August 9, 2021 to August 15, 2021.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyo Battle Royale!! for Switch was both the highest selling new release and overall release of the week, opening at 96,297 retail sales.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 89,734 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 8,313 units, the Xbox Series family sold 1,256 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,170 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.
