Pokémon Legends: Arceus is all set to make its entrance to Nintendo Switch. It will release exclusively for Switch on the 28^th of January, 2022. Its developers are about to take players back in time in an open-world feature to the Hisui region.

The game is now available for pre-order on various platforms. It is available at 59.99 USD at various retail shops.
As a bonus for pre-ordering Pokémon Legends: Arceus, both digitally and physically, players will receive a Hisuian Growlithe Kimono Set as an in-game costume.
In addition, people who buy and download the game from the Nintendo eShop before the 9^th of May, 2022 will receive a code that will grant them 30 in-game Heavy Balls.
Heavy Balls have an increased catch rate than normal Poké Balls. Both these bonuses are to be obtained through the Mystery Gift feature in the game.

But that is not all! Pre-ordering the game physically also includes other bonuses. Physical pre-orders are only available in Pokémon Centers so far, where players will be receiving Arceus Sitting Cuties Plush as long as supply lasts. It is expected that other retailers will announce retailer-exclusive bonuses as the launch gets closer.

The game is set in the Hisui region that became Sinnoh, as it is the Diamond and Pearl games. The player will be tasked with exploring the vast region in the open world after meeting the Galaxy Expedition Team led by Professor Laverton, to research wild Pokémon and complete the first Pokédex of the region.
As per the norm, Professor Laventon will present the player with three Pokémon to choose from Rowlet, Oshawott, and Cyndaquil. The legendary Pokémon Arceus describes as an “Alpha Pokémon,” will be the center of the story.
Players can move around the region in different ways using their Pokémon. They can move across the water with water Pokémon, ride around the land in four-legged mounts, and fly around using bird-type Pokémon. Pokémon can be caught in two ways, by the traditional turn-based combat, or by tracking them and capturing them with a Poké Ball.
