#Jamie xx shares new song “It’s So Good”

Jamie xx has shared “It’s So Good,” the electronic producer’s first new single of 2024. Scroll down to listen. The song is his third in two years following “Let’s Do It Again“ and “Kill Dem,” both playlisted as Songs You Need. The new song isn’t a sharp-left turn from the London producer, who opts for the cinematic tension and loving allusions to rave’s heyday that he’s so fond of. It’s not pure nostalgia bait, though, thanks in part to a latter half that plays with Brazilian funk rhythms. Last year, Jamie was a credited producer on Mid Air, the new studio album from Romy, Jamie’s bandmate in The xx. This week, Romy revealed that she’d reunited with the band to record a follow-up to 2017’s I See You. Jamie’s second solo album In Colour was released in 2015.
