England soccer star Jack Grealish is reportedly in the dog house with his girlfriend over a secret romance with English actress Emily Atack.
Grealish, 26, is in a relationship with model Sasha Attwood, who gave him an ultimatum, according to The Sun, amid romance rumors with the 31-year-old actress.
The Manchester City winger has reportedly downplayed his relationship with Atack, telling Attwood that the two are “just mates.” But a source told the outlet that Grealish and Atack were discussing a future together.
Attwood was “rocked” and blindsided by the situation. Grealish has since apologized, according to the outlet.
Earlier this week, The Sun reported that Grealish and Atack have been enjoying secret dates, citing two specific occasions — once at Manchester’s swanky Lowry hotel on Oct. 18, and another time at her home in North London.
Grealish and Atack reportedly began communicating through Instagram messages, before they exchanged phone numbers in September. They have been video chatting ever since, and are “getting very close,” according to The Sun.
Grealish and Attwood are childhood sweethearts, but Grealish is apparently “really confused” because of his newfound connection with Atack.
The actress, according to The Sun, has “made it clear to Jack the last thing she wants is to be presented as a home-wrecker when she’s anything but.”
In August, Grealish moved from Aston Villa to Manchester City on a $135 million, six-year deal — making him the highest-paid British player of all time.
