# Itagaki Games shuts down
Itagaki Games, the studio established by Tomonobu Itagaki in January 2021, has shut down, according to a company dissolution notice published today in Japan’s government gazette.
The notice reads: “Dissolution Notice: [Itagaki Games, LLC] has been dissolved, so if you have any claims against our company, please submit your claims within two months from the day this notice is published.”
When the company was established, Itagaki said Itagaki Games would release its first game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Ultimately, it did not release any games.
