Following up on the plans to develop and release a new mobile RPG, the Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? franchise isn’t slowing down, with more fun to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the light novel series penned by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. The anniversary will consist of 10 projects, new mobile RPG included, as well as a global online exhibition, new stories and the return of the spin-off 4-panel manga penned by Ai-Mai-Mi creator Choboraunyopomi with “episode 0”, now available online on the 10th anniversary website.

‘Adventurer Selection’ Online Exam

First, the Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? – Prototype prose story will begin on January 15, 2023. In addition, a new online quiz titled the Adventurer Selection Quiz will also be launched on the same day to test fans, from new readers to the most dedicated fans, on their knowledge of the franchise.

The previously mentioned online gallery will be a virtual reality exhibition open globally and developed by Japanese VR developer Gugenka that will debut in March of 2023, while a new text story, titled ‘Argonaut’, based on the second anniversary celebration event for the Memoria Freese mobile game, will also be published by the light novel’s current Japanese publisher GA Bunko sometime in 2023 as a complete novel, with revisions by Fujino Omori.

Finally, a new teaser trailer was also released to promote the forthcoming premiere of the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV anime’s Deep Calamity Arc, which will premiere in less than a week, on January 5. The teaser is embedded below:

Based off of a light novel of the same name written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is set in the world of Orario, where adventurers band together and look for treasures in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon. However, for Bell Cranel, fame and riches are secondary to what he wants to find the most: girls. He soon finds out though, that anything can happen in Dungeon, and winds up being the damsel in distress instead!
