There is so much to analyze with all the big time NFL announcing moves, but let’s start with Fox’s decision to reward Joe Buck for nearly three decades of top-of-the-class work
By allowing Buck to break out of the final year of his contract for a huge new deal that may reach five years, $75 million with ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” Fox has decided to trust its process.
Trusting the process: In letting Buck go, Fox Sports CEO Eric Shanks and executive producer Brad Zager are implementing a plan they have been cultivating for years to add depth and young talent to the network’s broadcasting roster.
