Pixies have released a new song, “Hear Me Out,” taken from the sessions for their 2019 album Beneath the Eyrie. Listen below. The song will feature on a 12″ vinyl single, out October 16, with a cover of T-Rex’s “Mambo Sun.”
Early this year, Pixies released an album of demos from Beneath the Eyrie. They were the subject of a 12-part documentary podcast, Past Is Prologue, last year. Before Beneath the Eyrie, they released Head Carrie in 2016 and, two years later, a 30th anniversary reissue of their debut releases: Come on Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa.
