“#I’m Standing on a Million Lives 2nd Season PV Introduces New OP Theme by Virtual Idol Kaede Higuchi”

The official Japanese website for the TV anime I’m Standing on a Million Lives has posted an 80-second new PV for its forthcoming second season. The clip introduces the next season’s OP theme “Baddest” sung by Nijisanji’s virtual idol / Virtual YouTuver Kaede Higuchi. She started her online activities in January 2018, and this is her first anime theme song work.

Meanwhile, the second season’s ED theme song “Subversive” is confirmed to be performed by voice actress Kanako Takatsuki, best known as Hanamaru Kunikida in the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise. Her first solo single song “Anti world” was used as the OP theme for the anime’s first season.

She says, “I was in charge of the OP for the first season, and now I’m going to sing the ED for the second season! I wrote a song about their determination to fight for something important, which are different for each of them, as the time moves forward beyond the world. The battles in Ore 100 will be even more fierce than in the first season, and I’m happy to be walking with them in the future. I hope you will enjoy the show!”
