Ani-One Asia announced recently that it will stream the upcoming Onimai: I’m Now Your Sister! anime for its Ani-One Asia ULTRA members. The show will premiere on January 5 at 11:30 PM (UTC+8).

Onimai: I’m Now Your Sister! is based on the Ichijinsha-published manga by Nekotofu, which began in 2018 and has six tankoubon volumes as of April 2022. The series is serialized in Monthly Comic Rex magazine and published under the Rex Comics label.

Kodansha USA describes the story as: 

Mahiro Oyama was just a normal erotic-game loving dude…until he woke up one morning as a woman! Turns out his mad-scientist little sister, Mihari, tried out one of her new experiments on him…with a disastrous outcome, as far as Mahiro’s concerned! But Mihari is as determined to study him as he is determined to go back to his shut-in, game-playing life, and one thing’s for sure…life is going to get a whole lot weirder from here on out!

The anime is directed by Shingo Fujii, who served as action supervisor on some of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation‘s episodes and directed the 2019 LINE Novel original animation PV. Michiko Yokote (Call of the Night) is the series composer while Ryou Imamura (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation co-prop designer, Kizumonogatari Part 1: Tekketsu main animator) is the character designer.

Other staff include Masayo Kobayashi (7SEEDS art board) as art director, Makiko Doi (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) as color designer, Akane Fushihara (Spy x Family) as photography director, and Daisuke Achiwa and Alisa Okehazama (The God of High School) as music composers. STUDIO BIND is the animation production company. 

Meanwhile, the cast includes Marika Kouno as Mahiro Oyama, Kaori Ishihara as Mihari Oyama, Hisako Kanemoto as Kaede Hozuki, and Minami Tsuda as Momiji Hozuki.
