#I’m a sexy silver fox and babes half my age are all over me: ‘It’s a daddy thing’

They’re no spring chickens, but they’re landing chicks.

Growing old isn’t exactly synonymous with sex appeal, but a new obsession with middle-aged men has young ladies dying to date gray-haired guys twice their age. And while the silver-fox phenomenon is nothing new, Google searches for terms like “Daddy” and “DILF” have risen 150 percent over the past year, according to new data from online-dating market researcher Datingroo.

Celebrities including Jeff Goldblum, George Clooney and Pierce Brosnan have all been praised for their daddy-like qualities by fans online, and as the trend continues to take off, regular guys are reaping the benefits.

“Daddy, zaddy, hot silver fox, the desire to experience being with an older guy — I get it all, and it all comes from the gray [hair],” said Fred DiBella, adding that his online-dating luck has never been better. “The 20-year-olds love it big time.”

The 49-year-old Los Angeles actor and model — who works as Adam Levine’s body double — finally decided to let his gray grow out in 2016 after dying his hair jet black for more than 20 years.

“I was afraid that it would age me and I didn’t know what to expect,” DiBella, who’s fully covered in tattoos, told The Post. “But with girls, I noticed that the hair actually helped a lot.”

Suddenly, he was getting more matches than ever with young women on the dating app Bumble.

“It’s a daddy thing — they love when they [can] call an older guy daddy,” said DiBella, who goes on at least one date every few weeks. “It’s a sexual fantasy being with somebody older who doesn’t necessarily look older, but has the gray hair.”

While DiBella works hard to keep his physique toned and tight, he says it’s the hair that sets him apart.

“When I had dark hair, I was just another guy with dark hair and tattoos, but the gray hair and tattoos puts me in a different category,” he said.

Adrian Raymond, a 47-year-old who works in corporate communications, took a little longer to warm up to his silver beard. At first, he wore it short.

“As my gray got more obvious, I started doing really well career-wise,” said Raymond, who’s based on the Caribbean island of Trinidad. “What struck me was the changed way people responded to me. I was promoted to upper management of my company and even was acting as CEO on occasion.”

So during the pandemic, Raymond decided to let it grow even bigger.

“A lot more people began reaching out to me on social media. I get a lot of people sliding into my DMs calling me daddy, zaddy, papi [and] sexy or chic silver fox,” he said. “Interestingly, it’s both men and women.”

The sudden change has him feeling better than ever.

“I am really into it now. I proudly use the silver-fox hashtag on all my socials and I am investing in beard balms and oils,” he said. “I am doing more at the gym, as well, so it’s an overall new final look I am working on: Gray and sexy, gray and healthy.”

Going gray is what helped Steve Pack nab the woman, and career, of his dreams.

“About six years ago, I was at a big fashion event in New York City trying to promote my girlfriend’s modeling career when a fashion-magazine publisher told me that I should be a model,” said Pack, 67, of Philadelphia. “Not too long after that, I was doing my first runway walk.”

It was a goal that Pack — who now goes by the last name Silver, of course — had longed for since college. Since then, he’s acted in several films and TV shows, modeled at New York Fashion Week and regularly MCs red-carpet events.

He also got engaged to a woman 27 years his junior.

“She likes to call me her silver fox,” said Pack. “I feel lucky as hell.”
