The upcoming second cour of the male idol anime series IDOLiSH7 Third BEAT! will premiere on October 2, 2022. The exact October release date was announced in a new 15-second PV trailer. 

The first cour of IDOLiSH7 Third BEAT! aired in the Summer 2021 season with 13 episodes. The first two seasons of the show aired in 2018 and 2020 respectively. The anime series is based on the 2015 IDOLiSH7 rhythm  mobile game for iOS and Android. 

The anime production team includes Makoto Bessho as director, Ayumi Sekine as series screenwriter, Ei Aoki as chief supervisor, Arina Tanemura as original character designer, Kasumi Fukagawa as animation character designer, and Tatsuya Katou as music composer. TROYCA is handling the main animation production for the series. 

Meanwhile, the main voice cast consists of Toshiki Masuda as Iori Izumi, Yuusuke Shirai as Yamato Nikaido, Tsubasa Yonaga as Mitsuki Izumi, Kenn as Tamaki Yotsuba, Atsushi Abe as Sogo Osaka, Takuya Eguchi as Nagi Rokuya, and Kenshou Ono as Riku Nanase.

Crunchyroll has streamed previous seasons of IDOLiSH7 and describes the series as:

A group of aspiring idols gather at Takanashi Productions and are entrusted with the company’s future. The seven men who have just met represent a variety of totally different personalities. However, they each have their own charm and possess unknown potential as idols. Forming a group, they take their first step together as “IDOLiSH7.” Their brilliantly shining dancing forms onstage eventually begin captivating the hearts of the people. In the glorious but sometimes harsh world of idols, they aim for the top with dreams in their hearts!
