The IDOLiSH7 franchise is getting a live movie titled IDOLiSH7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD which will premiere in Japan on May 20. A 30-second trailer and main visual have been released.

The live movie, which is the first for the franchise, will feature the IDOLiSH7, TRIGGER, Re:vale, and ŹOOĻ groups.

IDOLiSH7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD is directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori (ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream!) and Kensuke Yamamoto (Beastars VFX art director) with Bunta Tsushimi (IDOLiSH7 anime co-creator, IDOLiSH7 game scenario writer) as scriptwriter and Hitomi Miyazaki (Beastars sub-character designer) as character designer. Other staff include Eiji Inomoto (Beastars CG chief director) as chief CG director, Osamu Mikasa (Belle) as color designer, and Yuu Wakabayashi (Blue Thermal) as chief photography director. Orange is the animation production company.

The IDOLiSH7 anime are inspired by the 2015 idol rhythm game for iOS and Android. A TROYCA-produced anime series began airing in 2018 with the third season’s second cour premiering in 2022. TROYCA also produced the IDOLiSH7 Vibrato ONA.

The franchise also includes light novel, manga, and music CD releases.
