#Ice, snow chasing away East Coast’s mild weather, forecasters say

Don’t get too used to this weekend’s mild weather.

The East Coast will be hit next week with snow, wind, drenching rain and maybe a treacherous glaze of ice, Accuweather reported Saturday.

The storm is heading east from the Rockies, and will intensify Wednesday into Thursday, striking somewhere along the mid-Atlantic or Northeast coast, forecasters said — and possibly the tri-state area.

“While we continue to monitor trends, residents in the East need to pay close attention to the forecast over the next few days,” warned AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Tyler Roys.

“This storm has the potential to be highly disruptive for a large number of people.”

Much of the Tri-State area, including in northern New Jersey, the Hudson Valley, Fairfield County in Connecticut and New York City could see between 1-3 inches of snow, NBCNewYork reported.
