Good little boys and girls will have to be extra good this Christmas to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

And Santas are taking precautions as well, with some planning visits over Zoom and behind plexiglass barriers. A few have taken to futuristic augmented reality experiences. There’s even something for naughty adults (who still want to responsibly celebrate) this year, too.

Europeans believe Kris Kringle hails from Lapland, the northernmost province of Finland. On Airbnb, you can book a 30-minute live chat with a Kris Kringle in Lapland — where Scandinavians believe he lives. Cost is from $19/person.

The site that normally offers birthday greetings from C-list celebs is also offering personalized messages from a Santa puppet ($26), a singing St. Nick ($49) or a Mr. Claus stripper who unwraps down to his skivvies ($49).
