Jennifer Lopez put up a stylish front last night while narrowly avoiding running into Ben Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, as they all attended a school event in Brentwood.

Accompanied by her 16-year-old child Emme and some family friends, Lopez arrived wearing a denim jumpsuit, pairing the look with clear, PVC stilettos. She wore her jumpsuit partially unbuttoned to reveal a sliver of skin, and cinched her look with a matching denim belt. The star slung a beige suede crossbody purse over her shoulder, and rounded out her look with a bouncy blowout. See photos here.

Baggy denim has always been a staple for the singer.

Affleck and Garner arrived separately, and were joined by their middle child Fin, 15. In tune with his laidback personal style, Affleck threw on a red graphic tee and a pair of jeans, topping off his look with a burgundy corduroy jacket with a faux shearling trim. Garner, for her part, bundled up in a black jacket, black V-neck sweater, and black scarf, pairing her layers with dark-wash jeans and black boots.

Lopez’s stealthy night out comes just a day after reports that Affleck was moving on from their divorce. An insider told People that the actor “never looked back” once he moved out of the Beverly Hills mansion he and Lopez previously shared. Now, Affleck is “very focused on work and his kids,” the source added. “He’s staying busy and happy.”

It seems he’s not the only one doing so. Last week, a source close to Lopez told People that she isn’t dwelling on the bad times with Affleck. “She was very upset about [the divorce]. But true to her positive outlook on life, she’s moving forward with optimism,” the insider shared. “Instead of feeling like she’s fallen flat on her face, she sees it was meant to be. She’s taking time for herself right now.”
