Eevee is a popular Normal type monster in Pokemon GO with the unique ability to evolve into eight different forms, which is known as Eeveelutions. Despite its weaker stats, its lovable appearance and diverse evolution options make it a fan-favorite among players.

Leafeon is one of the many Eeveelutions, and most get constantly featured in several Pokemon GO events. The ongoing Spring into Spring event showcases a Leafeon with cherry blossoms and an opportunity to get a Shiny Eevee. Available to encounter in the wild, eggs, and 1-Star raids, Eevee can later be evolved into Lefeon. That said, we have some tips for you if you want to add the latter to your collection.

Although players will get to encounter Leafeon in multiple Pokemon GO events, the best bet to get a powerful one is through evolving a powerful Eevee. Each one of the evolutions has its own unique way of evolving.

To evolve Eevee in Pokemon GO, 25 Candy is required. However, the evolution will be randomly selected without any special tricks. For those seeking a particular Eeveelution, there are ways to increase the odds.

There are two ways of evolving an Eevee into a Leafeon, one is through a Nickname trick, and the other is by Buddy system. Players can set a particular nickname for their Eevee to evolve into a particular Eeveelution. Meanwhile, the Buddy system requires walking and feeding the buddy Pocket Monster. Evolving a Shiny Eevee will result in getting a Shiny Leafeon in Pokemon GO.

In Pokemon GO, players can use a nickname trick to obtain a Leafeon by changing their Eevee’s nickname to “Linnea” before using candy to evolve it. However, it can only be used once for each type of Eeveelution. While this can be helpful, it loses its effectiveness for players who have already evolved certain forms at least once.

Another way of getting a Leafeon in Pokemon GO is to use a Mossy Lure Module. Players can use a Mossy Lure Module in a gym and try evolving their Eevee near the area of effect. Doing so will make it evolve into a Grass-type Leafeon.

The Gen-4 Leafeon is a Grass-type Pocket Monster with a max CP of 3328. The monster’s Pokemon GO stats comprises 216 Attack Power, 219 Defense Power, and 163 Stamina Power.

Leafeon’s best moveset in the game is a combination of Razor Leaf and Leaf Blade (12.97 DPS). While the Pokemon is vulnerable to Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice, and Poison-type moves, it can easily resist Electric, Grass, Ground, and Water-type attacks.
