#How Charles Barkley is readying for his daughter’s wedding

Charles Barkley is ready to take on his next title Saturday: Father of the Bride.

During a virtual appearance Tuesday on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the former NBA star, 58, spoke about how he’s been prepping for daughter Christiana’s wedding this coming weekend to Ilya Hoffman.

“I’ve been really working out hard because apparently, they’ve got to pick me up in a chair,” Barkley said.

When Kimmel asked if Barkley’s future son-in-law is Jewish, the “Inside the NBA” analyst confirmed.

“Listen, I need all Jewish people on deck, brother. Cause I can only get so skinny by Saturday, man,” Barkley said. “It’s like I’m a soldier, all hands on deck.”

Barkley, who shares daughter Christiana with wife Maureen Blumhardt, said he is “so excited” for the future newlyweds.

“I’m just excited for her ’cause this is her special day, hopefully, this will be the only one, too,” Barkley joked. “I promised her this, this got to work ’cause this is the only one I’m paying for.”

Kimmel, 53, then told Barkley about his past days as a wedding DJ in Arizona, to which Barkley quipped he could have scored a discount.

“I wish I had known that, you probably would have gave me a cheaper deal on the DJ, right?” Barkley said.
