House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday morning she has been tested for COVID-19 in the wake of disclosure of President Trump’s diagnosis and she is waiting on the results.

In an interview on MSNBC, Pelosi said, “Out of an abundance of caution, I was tested. I don’t have the results yet, but hopefully soon”. Pelosi, who is 80, is in next in the line of succession to the presidency if Trump and Vice President Mike Pence should be incapacitated. Pelosi met Wednesday for 90 minutes with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, who has tested negative for the virus.
