Houndoom is a canine Pokémon with a long snout and an orange underside that is mostly black. It has tiny red eyes. A white band is wrapped around its neck, and a tiny skull-shaped necklace hangs from its neck.

The grooves on Mega Houndoom’s back harden, and bone-like collars grow around the bottom of its tail. The rings are topped with slight spikes, making them look like vertebrae.

How To Beat

• Houndoom is resistant to Steel, Ghost, Grass, Ice, Dark, Fire, and Psychic-type moves. Avoid them!
• Don’t use Jynx, Smoochum, Shedinja, Jirachi, Bronzor, Bronzong, and Froslass. These pokemon are the most vulnerable to Houndoom.
• The best Pokemon against a Houndoom is Lucario. Use its Counter and Aura Sphere skills. These moves have 100% effective damage!
• Rampardos is also a very effective counter. Its Smack Down and Rock Slide deals devastating damage.
