#Horimiya Announces Monthly Blu-rays and Bonuses Starting Next Month

CloverWorks's high school rom-com Horimiya premiered this weekend, and the show is wasting no time in getting its home video release schedule set up! This weekend, it was announced that DVD and Blu-ray collections of the episodes will be coming out once a month, starting in February.

The series is best on the web manga Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, which was picked up by Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy manga magazine. The story, about an deeply dissimilar pair of students discovering each other's real-life personalities, won readers over even before the anime adaptation was announced.

The BD/DVD release of the series will consist of seven volumes, released once a month. Each limited-edition case will feature a cover drawn by series character designer Haruko Iizuka — starting with the Volume 1 cover:

Each volume will also include an information booklet and an exclusive CD of either a cast audio drama or character song. Volumes 1 and 2 will also include priority ticket information for the show's upcoming live event. Volume 7 will come with a case for all seven volumes, featuring art by original manga artist Daisuke Hagiwara.

A new trailer has been put out to promote the home video release:

Various stores will also be including bookmarks, clear files, and other bonuses for pre-orders of individual volumes and entire sets. Many are still being printed, but here's a look at what's been revealed so far.
