#Man slashed in the face during argument on NYC subway: cops

A 28-year-old man was slashed in the face during a dispute on a Manhattan train Sunday night, cops said.

The victim was aboard a D train at the West 4th Street-Washington Square station around 7:30 p.m. when he got into an argument with another straphanger — who slashed him across the face, police said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, and the suspect took off, authorities said. He was still in the wind Monday morning.

No information was immediately available about the dispute between the pair.

The incident follows at least three subway slashings reported last week.

Most recently, a 30-year-old Brooklyn straphanger was randomly stabbed in the face by a maniac who told his victim, “Why are you following me? You’re going to die today.”

The chilling attack happened Saturday morning on the J train in the Kosciuszko Street station in Bushwick, cops said.

A 22-year-old man was slashed in the face by a fellow straphanger who wanted him to turn down his music on a northbound 6 train at Grand Central around 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.

Earlier that morning, one man slashed another with a boxcutter on an L train at 14th Street and 1st Avenue during a squabble that began when the suspect kicked the victim’s bag, cops said.
