Hikaru Tono Raps In PV for New Light Novel Asobi no Kankei

Voice actor Hikaru Tono (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!‘ Anna Yanami, Mono‘s Sakurako Shikishima) has been enlisted for the PV of another KADOKAWA light novel. This time, Tono provides rap-like narration for Asobi no Kankei, a new romantic comedy title from Gamers!‘s Sekina Aoi, with the opening salvo introducing three principal characters.
Those characters are Mifuru Takanashi, a high school gal and part-time worker at a boardgame cafe; protagonist Kotaro Tokiwa, the owner of said boardgame cafe and a high-school dropout; and a mysterious masked woman (the light novel names her as Utamaru).
Mifuru is the love interest of Kotaro. However, since she already has a boyfriend, Kotaro lies that his crush is the professional shogi player Utakata Tsukino. Adding to the complication is the fact that Utakata frequents Kotaro’s cafe under a disguise.
The first volume of Asobi no Kankei was released on May 20 JST. It is published under the FANTASIA Bunko label and illustrated by Kurehito Misaki.
