#Hetalia World Stars Anime Reveals New PV and Theme Song

The official website for the Hetalia World Stars manga revealed a new promotional video for the upcoming anime. The video features the theme song “Chikyū Marugoto Hug Shitainda” (“I Want to Hug the Whole Earth”) performed by Daisuke Namikawa as Italy. An album with the full version of the theme song as well as the anime’s opening “Hetalia no Kagaku Sekai” (“Hetalia’s Shining World”) performed by Conisch will be released on May 26. It will also include an audio drama featuring the characters Italy, Germany, Japan, America, England, France, Russia, and China. Hetalia World Stars is set to premiere in spring 2021.

The anime’s staff includes Hiroshi Watanabe as director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu as script supervisor, and Mariko Oka as character designer. The animation production will be from Studio DEEN.

Go Inoue (Kuroko’s Basketball) as Spain and Bulgaria, Akira Sasanuma (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed) as Austria, Atsushi Kousaka (Talentless Nana) as Prussia, Greece, and Estonia, Megumi Takamoto (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) as Seychelles, Michiko Neya (Eureka Seven) as Hungary, Rie Kugimiya (A Certain Magical Index II) as Liechtenstein, Kokoro Tanaka (Hetalia The World Twinkle) as Latvia, Takahiro Mizushima (Assassination Classroom) as Finland, Keikou Sakai (Eureka Seven AO) as Sweden, and Keiichiro Asai (Hetalia The Beautiful World) as Australia.

The Hetalia World Stars manga launched in Shonen Jump+ in 2014 and will resume serialization this winter after it went on hiatus in April 2018. The manga currently has four published tankobon volumes.
