Musical healing anime Healer Girl revealed a new key visual, along with its ending theme song and additional cast members. The upcoming anime will premiere in April 2022 with Studio 3Hz in charge of animation production.
The new main visual showcases the four lead characters of Healer Girl. An ending theme song titled “Believe Like Singing” was also released and sung by the Healer Girls musical group. They also sing the main opening theme “Feel You, Heal You” which had its own opening animation released last December.
Joining the anime’s cast is Ayahi Takagaki as Ria Karasuma, Hisako Tojou as Shouko Nagisa, and Miyu Takagi as Shinobu Honosaka.
The main cast members of Healer Girl previously announced include Karin Isobe as Kana Fujii, Marina Horiuchi as Reimi Itsushiro, Akane Kumada as Hibiki Morishima, and Chihaya Yoshitake as Sonia Yanagi.
Yasuhiro Irie (Scorching Ping Pong Girls) serves as series director. Noboru Kimura (Princess Principal: Crown Handler) is in charge of series composition and scriptwriting. Yukie Akiya (Princess Principal) is the anime’s character designer and Ryou Takahashi will handle music production.
The Healer Girls are a chorus unit formed in late 2020. They began their career by uploading cover songs of anime themes on the Lantis YouTube channel from 2020 to 2021, as part of a special collaboration. The unit’s debut mini album Voices Vol.1-Anison Chorus Cover Album was released on March 26. Its track list includes covers of “God knows…,” “WALK,” “Snow Halation,” “Gentle oblivion,” and “DREAM SOLISTER.”
