#Harry Pitman stabbing: Police release images of two people

Two people are being sought by police in connection with the fatal stabbing of Harry Pitman on New Year’s Eve.

The Met Police has released images of the pair, saying officers are “keen to identify and speak with” them.

Harry, 16, from Haringey, was attacked in Primrose Hill, north London, at about 23:40 GMT on Sunday.

A 15-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of murder and an 18-year-old man held on suspicion of affray have been bailed by police.

Det Ch Insp Geoff Grogan, who is leading the investigation, urged anyone who could name the people pictured to get in touch with police.

“Similarly, if you see yourself pictured, please contact us without delay. It may be that you have information that could help us, or that we can eliminate you from our inquiries,” he said.

The force previously said there was no indication the attack was racially motivated.

Det Ch Insp Grogan said: “Harry’s family is devastated. He was a vibrant young man who should have had his life ahead of him. We continue to support them as they struggle to come to terms with their loss.”

The Met said Harry had been with a group of friends near the viewing platform on Primrose Hill where they had gathered to watch the new year fireworks.

Officers provided first aid before paramedics arrived but, despite the efforts of emergency services, Harry died at the scene shortly before midnight.
