#Requiem for Vengeance Game Mode Launches in Fortnite

A Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance team deathmatch mode has launched in the popular Fortnite battle royale game. Made with Unreal Engine for Fortnite by Look North World and named Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Red vs Blue, it sees two teams of 10 (Zeon and EFSF) fighting to power up their respective mobile suits (Zaku II (Unidentified Type) Solari and Legendary Gundam EX) by collecting resources.

Here’s an official description of how the mode plays:

When a match starts, players select their battlefield and deploy into their respective bases to equip themselves with an arsenal of their choosing. The primary objectives are to engage in tactical combat to secure the valuable MS Reactor Power. Factions are allocated a Cache in proximity to their base, and additional Caches are distributed across the terrain. Players acquire MS Reactor Power from the Caches. Teams must strategically collaborate to collect 200 MS Reactor Power, which then lets them activate their faction’s signature Mobile Suit, be it the Gundam EX or ZAKU II (Unidentified Type) Solari and have a devastating effect on the tide of battle. 

Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Red vs Blue can be accessed with the Fortnite Creative Island code 7089-7797-5952. The trailer description calls it a “limited-time event.”

The mode is described as being “one of the first major projects based on user-generated content that delivers an incredible dive into the world of Mobile Suit Gundam” as part of a Gundam Metaverse initiative.
