A two-part Haikyu!! movie titled Haikyu!! Final has been announced.

The movie’s announcement video also revealed that there will be a “kick-off event” on August 2023.

Produced by Production I.G, the Haikyu!! anime series began in 2014 with Takahiro Kishida as character designer and Taku Kishimoto as series composer. Susumu Mitsunaka directed the first three seasons while Masako Satou took over for the 2020 Haikyu!! Land Vs. Air OVA and the fourth season.

The anime is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Haruichi Furudate, which ran from 2012 to 2020 with 45 tankoubon volumes. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and published under the Jump Comics label. Viz Media describes the manga as:
