#Gridman Universe Heroines Become Heisei Gals in Pop-Up Store Visual

A Gridman Universe pop-up store is set to open at Shinjuku Marui Annex from December 14 to December 22 JST. The theme is “HEISEI Aoharu Style,” which is represented by Rikka, Akane, Yume, Mujina, and Hime dressing up as Heisei-era, school uniform-wearing gals.

Check out their fashionable looks in the pop-up store’s poster below. Gridman Universe‘s sub-character designer Mayumi Nakamura drew the illustration.

Gridman Universe first premiered in Japan on March 24, 2023. The anime movie is a sequel and crossover title for the SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynzaenon TV anime, which are inspired by Tsuburaya Productions’s 1993 Gridman: The Hyper Agent tokusatsu series. 

Akira Amemiya directed the film with Keiichi Hasegawa as scriptwriter, Masaru Sakamoto as character designer, and Shirou Sagisu as music composer. TRIGGER produced the anime. Graphinica handled the 3DCG.

The appearance of a kaiju followed by the entry of the gigantic robot, Dynazenon, leads Gauma to reveal his secret of being a “kaiju user.”
