“#Google Assistant Arrives on Some Samsung Smart TVs, Bye Bye Bixby – Review Geek”

Google Assistant, like any voice assistant, is only as useful as the places you can find it. Thankfully for Google Assistant, that’s nearly everywhere at this point. It’s on phones, smart speakers, smart clocks, smartwatches, and now some Samsung TVs. You don’t have to use Bixby anymore unless you want to.
To start, Google Assistant is coming to the 2020 models of the Samsung 9K and 4K QLED TVs, Crystal UHD TVs, Frame and Serif TVs, and the Sero and Terrace TVs. With Google Assistant on your TV, you can control your smart home, get answers to your questions, create reminders, and more.
But it isn’t just the usual Google Assistant features you’ll get; you can also control the TV itself with your voice. You can say things like “find action movies” or “search for yoga videos on YouTube.”
To get started, you’ll need to update your TV (if it didn’t update already), then turn on Google Assistant in the Settings > Voice menus. From then on, when you press and hold the mic button on your remote, Google Assistant will answer instead of Bixby.
That’s not the only new place you’ll find Google Assistant either. Lenovo’s smart clock follow up, the Smart Clock Essential, hit Best Buy and other retailers this week. It’s a $50 sequel to our favorite Google Assistant-powered smart clock from last year.
And if you’re a Fitbit fan, Google Assistant will arrive on the Sense and Versa 3 later this year. That’ll give you quick access to the voice assistant without needing to pull out your phone.
