#Good Trouble: Season 5B; Freeform Previews Five of Final Episodes

The end of Good Trouble begins next week, and Freeform has released new photos and a trailer for the drama’s final episodes. The first portion of the fifth season debuted in March and ran for ten episodes. It’s unclear how many new episodes remain.

Starring Cierra Ramirez, Tommy Martinez, Emma Hunton, Sherry Cola, Zuri Adele, Josh Pence, Bryan Craig, and Booboo Stewart, this spin-off of The Fosters follows the residents of an apartment complex in Los Angeles.

TV Line revealed that Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Jamie (Beau Mirchoff) will return during the second half of season five. Mitchell left the series during season four after being away from her family in Australia for two years due to the pandemic. Callie departed to work for the ACLU in Washington in the series, and her boyfriend Jamie went with her, so Mirchoff also left the series.

Showrunner Joanna Johnson spoke about the pair’s return and said, “Any time is a good time to bring Callie and Jamie back. As always, they will bring romance, comedy and plenty of drama back with them. And lots of feel-good fun.”

Here are descriptions of the upcoming episodes, which kick off on January 2nd:

Jan. 2 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #5011 – “I Am Doll Parts” – WINTER PREMIERE
Mariana’s stress hits a breaking point. Malika welcomes Isaac to the Coterie. Dennis reels after Ranjit’s betrayal, leading Davia and Alice to put their heads together.

Jan. 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #5012 – “With a Little Help From My Friends”
It’s opening night at Haven, and unexpected dinner guests lead to chaos in the kitchen. Malika braces herself to return to work after a setback. Evan surprises Mariana with a unique opportunity.

Jan. 16 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #5013 – “Hanging by a Moment”
Mariana and Evan butt heads over control of Spekulate. Gael welcomes a new studio tenant. Davia copes with her insecurities after a talented understudy joins the musical. Alice takes her new role seriously, while Malika seeks payback.

Jan. 23 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #5014 – “Party of One”
Dennis is nervous when a famous food critic visits Haven. Gael and Jay spend time together at the studio, deepening Gael’s crush. Joaquin and Mariana piece together the loose threads of their investigation.

Jan. 30 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #5015 – “It’s My Party, I Can Die if I Want To”
Kelly hosts a murder-mystery bash at The Coterie. Stories blur with truth as tensions come to light.
