God of War 2018 is often considered to be one of the best story mode RPGs of all time. It received over 260 Game of the Year Awards so that clearly explains its critical success. GOW always had tremendous hype and even now it remains one of the most sought-after games with exceptional demand. Now that the PC version of God of War is about to arrive, its magic will only spread further.

Most Pre-Ordered Steam Game

As of now, God of War is already the best-selling pre-order game on Steam worldwide. Only a day after being announced it achieved this milestone so imagine how it’ll wreak havoc in the gaming market when it comes out. It was obvious that a game like God of War was too good to be on Playstation alone. One day or the other, it had to be released on PC as, since its release, everyone wants to play it.

Now instead of buying a 400-dollar console to play it, you can simply buy a 50-dollar digital edition and play it on your PC. Though 50 dollars is not a minute amount for a game like God of War, it might be totally worth it. Fans were waiting for a long time for such a development and now that it’s finally here, they are grabbing it like anything.

A screenshot put on Twitter by @BenjiSales shows God of War as the global top seller. Though the number of units sold is not known but it has got to be a lot. Also, God of War is available for purchase on Epic Games Store as well, so its actual sales are even higher than we know. There is absolutely no doubt that it is going to sell a huge number of copies.

God of War (2018) is all set to arrive on PC on January 14, 2022. It will feature advanced-level graphics, support gamepad controls, 4K output, and 21:9 resolution. The system requirements have not been revealed yet but know that it would take at least 80 GB of space. As of August 2021, 19.5MM copies of God of War on PlayStation 4 have been sold. Now it remains to be seen what records it breaks for PC sales.

At this year, PlayStation Showcase, God of War: Ragnarok (its sequel) was revealed to be released in early 2022. The extended look provided us with almost everything we were hoping to see including a hint at storyline, incredible graphics, and return of favorite characters. The game will see first of a kind crossover of Greek mythology with Norse mythology. This is incredible news for gaming as well as Marvel fans.

One thing’s for sure, 2022 is destined to be a great year for gamers, especially God of War fans.
