Goodwin later appeared in the Western films “Stage to Thunder Rock” in 1964, “Law of the Lawless” the same year, and “The Glory Guys” in 1965. In addition to the unaired “Star Trek” pilot, she appeared in the classic spy series “Get Smart” as Phoebe, the Chief’s niece, and the role of Stella in two episodes of “The Beverly Hillbillies” titled “Robin Hood and the Sheriff,” and “Robin Hood of Griffith Park,” in 1967. She appeared as herself on “The Bob Hope Show” in 1963.
Goodwin married producer Walter Wood, and they worked together behind-the-scenes, producing the NASCAR comedy film “Stroker Ace” with Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson. After retiring from acting in 1971, she was a home nurse, and cared for her husband until he passed away.
Goodwin passed away on February 25, 2022 and is survived by her sister. Our deepest sympathies to her family and loved ones.
