# Gio Corsi joins Nintendo of America’s AAA third-party games portfolio management team
Gio Corsi, the former head of commercial at Iron Galaxy Studios, chief product officer of IllFonic, and head of global second party games at Sony Interactive Entertainment, has joined Nintendo of America as part of its AAA third-party games portfolio management team, he announced.
“This week I began my new gig filled with fun and adventure!” Corsi said in a tweet. “I’ve joined the Nintendo of America AAA third-party portfolio management crew to help great teams bring their amazing games to this legendary platform! On a personal note, Papa Mario is very proud! He we go!!!”
Corsi is best known for his “Building the List” initiative at Sony Interactive Entertainment, which brought SEGA‘s Yakuza series back to the west at a time when its English localizations were uncertain.
