It’s been a rough offseason for the Giants.

Kicker Aldrick Rosas was arrested Monday in California in an alleged hit-and-run, according to TMZ. Police believe alcohol was involved, per the report.

The 25-year-old was reportedly going roughly 100 miles per hour when he ran through a red light and t-boned a pickup truck at an intersection, TMZ reports. The 2018 Pro Bowler, who was in a black Chevrolet SUV, reportedly drove off but his car broke down shortly thereafter. Police told TMZ a witness saw Rosas leave his car and run, and cops later found a bloody Rosas near the site of the crash.

Rosas was booked on a hit-and-run charge along with driving with a suspended license, per the report. The cops will continue to investigate their drinking and driving suspicions.

The Giants said in a statement, “We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Aldrick. We have no further comment at this time.”

Earlier this offseason, cornerback DeAndre Baker was arrested on armed robbery charges. Baker’s lawyer has insisted charges will eventually be dropped.

Rosas enters the 2020 season on a one-year, $3.2 million contract. He made just 12 of 17 field goals last season after making 31 of 32 attempts in 2018.
