President Trump and the first lady have joined the ranks of the 7.3 million Americans who’ve tested positive for the coronavirus. Please join us in wishing them a speedy and painless recovery.

Trump announced his diagnosis via Twitter, saying he and Melania will quarantine immediately. “We will get through this TOGETHER!” he said with his signature bullishness.

Vice President Mike Pence and his wife tested negative; we pray no more cases pop up in the White House or cabinet.

On Friday, Trump was taken to Walter Reed as a precaution. His doctor said he was fatigued, but he’s been given a promising antibody formula from Regeneron. Treatment of COVID-19 has improved — here’s hoping the president responds well.
