After the trailer debuted in Japanese and English last week, the German trailer for “Star Wars: Visions” was released today!

It was one of the surprises of last year when Disney announced an anime series for “Star Wars” at Investor Day 2020. Originally specified as 10 short films, the now 9 short films are produced by “Star Wars: The Vision” on Wednesday September 22, 2021 on Disney + published as a stream.

“Star Wars: Visions” is an anthology series in the “Star Wars” universe in which each short film can play its own story within or outside of the official canon. 7 renowned Japanese animation studios were commissioned for the 9 stories. Since “Star Wars” by inventor George Lucas contains clear borrowings from Japanese cinema and the inspirations are no secret, it is like a return when Japanese studios are now allowed to tell their own stories in this world and use new styles.

«The Village Bride» – Kinema Citrus («Made in Abyss», «The Rising of the Shield Hero»)
«Akakiri» – Science Saru («Devilman Crybaby», «Ride Your Wave»)
«T0-B1» – Science Saru («Japan sinkt: 2020», «Night is Short, Walk On Girl»)
«The Ninth Jedi» – Production I.G («Ghost in the Shell», «Haikyu!!»)

“The Duel” also became a Roman announcedwho got the title “Ronin”.
