#Geri Halliwell Is Getting DUNKED ON For Messing Up Birthday Message To Mel B!

It’s the thought that counts, right?? Well…

Geri Halliwell is getting absolutely CLOWNED on by fans on Instagram after paying tribute to her fellow Spice Girls band member Mel B on her birthday. Or, we guess we should say trying to. Ginger Spice shared three pics of her and Scary from across the years in honor of Mel’s 49th b-day. But her caption stole the spotlight as a clear hiccup in the posting process stood out like a sore thumb!

When she — or whoever runs her account — shared the post, they accidentally led the caption with what was obviously intended to be a private message with Geri’s rep, Pippa Beng. The caption read:

“Sent images to Pippa and this wording asked her to tweak where needed.

Happy birthday @officialmelb! Hope you have an amazing day!”

HA! Clearly, only the second half was supposed to be shared, so the caption has since been edited to reflect that. But fans aren’t letting the flub slide! In the comments, they absolutely dunked on Geri and Pippa, writing things like:

“What a lovely genuine heartfelt message from yourself”

“It takes 3 people to post a celebrity’s birthday post to her friend. What world am I living in?!”

“Sending much love to Pippa on this day, she might need a wine glass or two”

“Friendship never ends… unless Pippa gets involved”

“Plot twist: Pippa did this on purpose to boost engagement”

“Babe you need to sort your social media manager out”

“Surely you could have written this yourself Geri and made it more personal especially after everything you and Melanie have been through?”

Seriously! That’s no way to celebrate someone you once slept with! Ha! Oh well, friendship never ends, even if publicists get added to the mix!
