Update 2.2 is bringing with it a whole new set of weapons to Genshin Impact. Among them is the Wavebreaker’s Fin, a 4-star polearm that bears incredible potential. It can boost characters such as Thoma and Xiangling. Similar to the other weapons that are included in the banner, it allows for significant increases in damage for burst supports.

While it is not yet known how to obtain the Wavebreaker’s Fin, we do know that it is most likely to be announced as a featured weapon of the banner. The polearm has some impressive stats, being a 4-star weapon.

Its base ATK is 45, reaching up to 620 at level 90. Secondary stat, ATK% stands at 3% at level 1 and at 13.8% at level 90. The passive feature of the weapon is that for each point increase in the team’s Maximum Energy, the player who wields the Wavebreaker will gain a 0.12 % increase in their Elemental Burst DMG, up to a limit of 40%.

For a 4-star weapon, the base ATK is very high, and will greatly aid players when upgraded. The Ascension Materials required are as follows:

Level 70	6x Mask of the One Horned 9x Concealed Talon 6x Famed Handguard 35,000 Mora
Level 80	4x Mask of the Kijin 18x Concealed Talon 12x Famed Handguard 45,000 Mora
