Genkai OL Kirigiri Giriko Manga Inspires Light Anime

Mitosupa Tsuchimoto‘s Genkai OL Kirigiri Giriko manga, which features an office worker and her rather extreme meals, is getting a short light anime adaptation, which premieres on May 28 JST.
The light anime will be streamed on X (formerly Twitter), Tiktok, and the Shonen Jump+ YouTube channel, with new episodes on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. There will be 32 episodes in total.
Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) is reported to be producing the adaptation. DNP is no stranger to light anime, which are akin to motion comics.
Kaori Shimizu is voicing the titular protagonist Giriko Kirigiri. Other cast members include Ryoka Yuzuki as Aya and Wakana Kowaka as Yuri.
Genkai OL Kirigiri Giriko is serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ as an Indies title. Manga have to go through a ranking competition hosted on Jump Rookie! to qualify for serialization under the Indies status.
