#Garrison Brown, Son of ‘Sister Wives’ Stars Janelle and Kody Brown, Dies at 25

Garrison Brown, son of Sister Wives stars Janelle Brown and Kody Brown, died Tuesday at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was 25.

Janelle and Kody both shared the news of his death on their Instagram accounts Tuesday, writing, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

The Flagstaff Police Department said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter that Garrison died “as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound” and that there is no “indication of foul play.” Detectives are continuing to investigate.

Garrison has appeared on the popular TLC reality show since it debuted in 2010. Sister Wives chronicles the life of a polygamist family, including Kody, his wife Robyn, ex-wives Meri, Janelle and Christine, and their combined 18 children.

The family was living in Lehi, Utah, when the series began, but then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2011, and to Flagstaff, Arizona, in 2018.

Garrison was one of six children that Kody and Janelle share, including his siblings Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Gabriel and Savana. The pair announced that they had separated in December 2022.

The most recent season of Sister Wives, season 18, aired last year.

TLC also shared in a statement, “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown.  We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
