#Gang of Four 77-81 Box Set With Unreleased Music Announced

A huge limited edition box set collecting Gang of Four’s music is coming on December 11 via Matador. Gang of Four: 77-81 includes their albums Entertainment! (1979) and Solid Gold (1981), which were both remastered from the original analog tapes. It also includes an exclusive singles collection and the never officially released double album Live at American Indian Center 1980. 

The box set also comes with a C90 cassette tape compiling 26 never-before-issued outtakes, rarities, and studio demos. There’s also a 100-page hardbound book with unreleased photos, contributions from original members, rare posters, flyers, essays, lyrics, liner notes, and more. That’s what it looks like below.
