Multipoint is one of those Bluetooth features that manufacturers and customers tend to overlook, and I really can’t figure out why. It lets you connect earbuds with multiple devices at once, eliminating the need to re-pair the Bluetooth signal as you jump from your phone to your laptop. Now, Jabra says it’s bringing Multipoint to the Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 Active, and I couldn’t be happier.

Jabra already offers Multipoint support in some products, like the Elite Active 75t. But the feature was mysteriously missing from the Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 Active, which launched in late 2021. Jabra now tells us that Multipoint support will arrive in a firmware update this January.

Along with its Multipoint announcement, Jabra gave us a first look at its new Elite 4 Active earbuds during CES 2022. The new earbuds feature IP75 durability, ANC, and more at a relatively low price—we’ll write a dedicated piece on them soon, don’t worry.
