#«Gamescom» 2024: The Nordic countries are official partner region

The Nordic countries take on the role of official partner region of the Gamescom 2024. Thus, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Estonia appear together in the large partnership pavilion and present numerous games.

Felix Falk, Managing Director of the Association of the German Games Industry eV, on the announcement:

“The Nordic countries have been among the most productive and innovative countries in the games industry in Europe and internationally for many years. The use of the potential of games in many areas of life and the economy is also exemplary. We are therefore very pleased that the Nordics, as the official partner region, will be an even more important part of gamescom this year than in many years before.”

Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse, on the announcement:

“As the world's largest games event, we want to use strategic partnerships to specifically promote countries that are of particular importance to the industry. Together, we are putting more focus on the games scene in the Nordic countries this year. Through close integration with gamescom, we are creating the best conditions for high visibility of the region in which world-famous franchises were created and the companies that developed them.”

The Nordic pavilions will be located at gamescom in Hall 4.1.

Gamescom 2024 will take place from Tuesday, August 20th to Sunday, August 25th, 2024, in Cologne and online.
