#Gallant NYC man gives woman a lift over slush puddle

He was her knight in waterproof armor.

A gallant New Yorker carried a woman over a slush puddle in Midtown Tuesday as the city dug itself out of this week’s massive snowstorm.

The gentleman, decked out in a puffer vest, was shoveling melted snow outside Penn Station at around 10 a.m. when he spotted the damsel in distress as she hesitated to cross — and dashed to her rescue.

After making it safely across, the woman clasped her hands together in a symbol of thanks.

The random act of kindness came after a winter storm pummeled the five boroughs, dumping at least 17.5 inches of snow on Central Park, according to the National Weather Service.

A morning flurry was in the forecast for Wednesday, with the rest of the day looking mostly cloudy and windy with a high of 35 degrees.

The mercury will continue to rise for the rest of the week, with a jolt of sunshine expected on Thursday.

By Friday, the high will be 42 degrees, although with occasional rain showers.
